Daedalic Entertainment has reported that they have deferred The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by “a few months”. Recently expected to hit a first September 2022 delivery date, no new send off window or date has been given, yet Daedalic guarantee another declaration in the close to future.

They Twitter defer text-picture – a mode that is quickly turning into the main way that game postponements are imparted – states:
First, all things considered, might want to thank every one of you for your understanding and backing up to this point. Over the course of the past years, our group has been striving to get you a striking story a stunning world, loaded up with sorcery and wonder.
We are devoted to living up to our local area’s assumptions and revealing the untold story of Gollum such that praises the
vision of J. R. R. Tolkien. That being said, to convey the most ideal experience, we have chosen to push the arrival of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by a couple of months. We will refresh you with an accurate timing in the close to future.
We are appreciative for our energetic local area and we can hardly hold on to impart this novel experience to you soon!
This isn’t the initial occasion when The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been postponed. First announced in 2019, there was valuable (heh!) little data at that point, yet Daedalic ultimately affirmed their intention to release the game in 2021. In the end obviously wasn’t conceivable and they were constrained to push their release target back to 2022, in the end settling on 1st September. Clearly the game requirements somewhat longer to be prepared, and the one comfort for energetic fans is that Daedalic are willing and ready to take more time to attempt to ensure the game can meet their vision.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a new interpretation of Gollum’s excursion as it would have happened simultaneously to the early sections of The Fellowship of the Ring. It’s right now that he sets out from the Misty Mountains, going to the edges of Mordor, through the Wood-mythical people domain of Mirkwood and then some, all only for the opportunity to track down his Precious again. It’s a secrecy activity experience, yet one that is particularly story-driven with players getting to pick which of the two clashing characters will sparkle through.
When Gollum dispatches, it will be across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC – a Switch delivery will come later down the line.
