Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA will launch quickly on Steam Early Access

Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA will likely be launched into Steam Early Access quickly, Massive Ant Studios and Nacon have introduced. Whereas the sport will initially be launched on PC by way of Steam, Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA will ultimately be launched on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Sequence X|S, and Swap.

In an announcement, Massive Ant Studios mentioned, “Our ambition from the very start of development on Tiebreak has always been to create the best tennis game to date. Tennis is a complex sport and to do it justice, we want to give players the chance to get involved from the launch of the new ATP and WTA tennis season and help us build an experience that is as comprehensive and realistic as possible. In order to best deliver on this ambition, we have taken the decision to launch Tiebreak on early access. This early access will enable us to obtain player feedback and optimise our decision-making in terms of what changes to apply to improve the game before final release. We are so excited to be able to say that Tiebreak will be the most authentic Tennis game ever. Not only will Tiebreak include both the ATP and WTA, it will have more stadiums, more tournaments more competitions, and more licensed players than any tennis game before it!”

In accordance with Massive Ant Studios, Tiebreak will mix components from Tennis World Tour 2 and AO Tennis 2. In our Tennis World Tour 2 Review, I wrote, “Tennis World Tour 2 is a solid all-round tennis game, and the inclusion of the wildcard system offers an additional and entertaining tactical layer to consider as you play. It’s just a shame that some minor issues hold it back from being great.”
