Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 4 remaster
Tony Hawk himself has uncovered that remasters of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 & 4 were arranged by Activision. In any case, when Vicarious Visions got converged in to Blizzard the venture was lost.
“That was the plan,” expressed Tony on a Twitch stream. “Even up until the release date of [Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 remasters] we were going three and four. And then Vicarious kinda got absorbed and [Activision] were looking for other developers, and then it was over.”
He proceeded to make sense of that Activision have no faith in different studios with the remasters so searched for different pitches for the establishment. “What would you do with the THPS title? They didn’t like anything they heard and that was it.”
That is astounding, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 evaluated unquestionably well, we gave the PS4 adaptation at spanking 10 out 10 in our review. “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+ 2 is a labour of love and an ode to the series’ glory days,” said Thomas. “Every inch of the game has been perfectly restored and updated for modern consoles and it’s an absolute delight to play from start to finish. This is a must-buy for skateboarders, gamers and everyone else in between.”
A few months after the fact we returned to the game to look at the Nintendo Switch version which scored a noteworthy 8/10. Thomas was on audit obligations once more and had this to say. “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is an impressive Switch port that make graphical cuts in just the right places. Those cuts ensure a smooth and consistent gameplay experience that sets a new standard for Tony Hawk games on the go.”
It seems like Activision are as yet clutching the permit for the establishment so there might be another Tony Hawk game from here on out, yet for the present nothing is arranged. Those needing to get a skating fix have a lot of titles to looked over, with Skate Story, Session: Skate Sim, and Skate 4 on the way.
