The clear main event here is Immortals Fenyx Rising, which emerged at the last part of 2020 and was a somewhat decent wind on Ubisoft’s cliché open world tricks – it positively took a tad of motivation from Breath of the Wild, however blended it in jest portrayal for the story.
In our Immortals Fenyx Rising review, Aran said:
“Putting the obvious parallels to one side, Immortals Fenyx Rising is a thoroughly enjoyable game. The main character is very likeable, and the humour between the characters is great, while the Golden Isle looks fantastic and is filled with content without also feeling overwhelming. It takes a while for the combat to grow, and the end portion of the game drags on, but if you want a fun and compact open world game then Immortals Fenyx Rising is well worth playing.”
Beyond that, there’s a lot of new independent games jumping into the index of Xbox Game Pass games. 12 PM Fight Express has developed a head of steam, specifically, catching our eye from its appearing during Summer Game Fest in June.
Jim went hands on with Midnight Fight Express, saying:
“Fierce, frenetic bouts of close quarters combat are this game’s bread and butter, each stage serving up a set menu of high octane brawls. Midnight Fight Express lays out some duelling basics before gradually layering on new moves and mechanics. Within a matter of minutes you’ll go from using Babyface’s first combo to mastering makeshift weapons and performing deadly finishers in a satisfyingly brutal ballet.”
